Propelled by Doreen Valiente's great poem, "The Charge of the Star-Goddess," Oberon made the Astra Star Goddess design in 1987 for his dearest Lifemate, Morning Glory, representing the sanctity and the power of women’s connection to the cyclical rhythms of the Earth and the Heavens. Started by Gerald Gardner in 1953, Valiente's excellent poetry and summons established a great part of the foundational ritual of modern Wicca.
